Paulina Siftser
 

 

She was born in 1899 in Nikolayev, Kherson Gubernia, Ukraine.

In 1904, together with her family, she came to Brazil, and a year later went with them to Argentina. Here S. began her stage career with Vaksman, acting later with Goldenburg in the Bagatela Theatre, where she found great success as "Lili" in "Shir hashirim", and as "Sara" in "The Sacrifice of Isaac". She soon became popular, especially in the operettas "Shulamis", "Bar kokhba", "Shabat kodesh", et al.

On 20 May 1917 S. passed away in Buenos Aires.
