Shmayle der hoyzeriker


Born in Lemberg.

In his younger years he was a helper for Velvel Zbarzher.

The last of the genuine Broder Singers.

As an adult he hadn't yet been known to sing, and he used to "say' their [hoarse=heyzerik].

He passed away in Bucharest, where Yiddish actors had erected a gravestone for him.
