Shmuel Gartenberg


G. was born in (Shtsherzhets/Szczerzec), by Lemberg, Galicia.

He composed many songs.

He used to make a rhyme in places, if not he had [batsolt shtrof].

He was a bookkeeper in Lemberg; afterward he immigrated to America, where he was a bit comedian (badkhan) and a bit life-insurance agent.
