Harry Gabel
 

 

G. was born on 15 February 1899 in New York. His parents were Max Gabel and Jennie Atlas.

He finished public and high school and learned for one year at Columbia University. He took Yiddish courses privately.

During the World War he served voluntarily in the American army and later entered into his father's theatre as a manager.

G. wrote in English a melodrama "Der farshpeteter man.".
