Itzhak Broydes


B. was born circa 1880 in Vilna, Polish Lithuania, into a family of means.

He learned in a cheder and yeshiva, and he participated in the Bund, and later in their union activities.

He wrote articles, etc. in the Vilna Yiddish press.

B. published a drama in five acts, about the lives of the Yiddish [eksternikes] known as "A shteyn in veg", (publisher Kunst, 1911, p. 69, 16°).
