Yitzhak-Lipe Brill


B. was born on 22 August 1874 in Meinz, Germany.

Until he was ten years old, he traveled with his father to London where he studied in a Yiddish college. He became a teacher, and since 1894 became active as a journalist in the Yiddish-German, Yiddish, and Yiddish-English press.

He settled later in New York.

B. wrote about the Yiddish drama in the American encyclopedia, worked for the English newspaper "The New York Journal".
