Eva Avakher
(Khava Litvin)

Born in Chechersk, Mogilev Gubernia, Podolia. Her father was a butcher. At the age of seventeen she joined a chorus with Kaminski, where she was for a year, and soon thereafter she went over to the itinerant troupe of Rabinowitz, where she became a prima donna. From there she also played in the troupes of Vaysfeld (Warsaw), Kaminski (Lodz), Genfer, Feldman, Bernstein, Sabsey and Guzik.
