Chaim Szczupakiewicz and Family
cir 1936-7

Hear daughter Sandra (far left above) tell the story of the time the Germans entered Czyzewo
and how her family had to hide behind double walls, then in the Czyzewan woods until the
fateful day when her father and two siblings went into town for food and met their end. Click here.
Please be patient as it might take a minute of two for the sound clip to download.
(One correction to her story: she and her mother actually went to Lodz from Czyzewo, not Warszawa.)

Despite this RCA Radiogram sent on 12 Jan 1940, all was not well in Czyzew. All of Chaim's family perished in the Shoah. Chaim was a brother to both Motel and Pearl.
