Lev Zevin


Z. was born in 1901.

He studied with Mark Chagall.

He prepared the production "Intervention" by the Yiddish-Soviet writer Slavin in the White Russia State Yiddish Theatre, and the opera "Carmen", directed for the White Russia Opera Theatre.

He perished at the front against the Nazis with bravery in the Soviet capital of Moscow.
