Izzy (Isak) Sapozhnikov S. was born in 1909 in Kiev, Ukraine. In 1925 he completed an electro-technical technium. From 1925 until 1941, when the Soviet Union fought the Nazis, he had worked in the Yiddish theatre in Kiev as a manager of an electrical lighting business. S. volunteered to go away to fight against the Nazis, and not lozndik taken in captivity, he perished bravely in 1942. Sh. E. from Yona Radinov.
