A komyugyst.

He worked at first in a furniture factory.

In his thirtieth year he came with a young group for the Bielo Tserkov drama in the Kharkov State Yiddish Theatre.

In 1936 he became an actor and director for the Zhitomir Bavleglekhn Yiddish Theatre.

He fell as a volunteer at the Front in the struggle against the Nazis.
