W. was born in 1897 in Warsaw, Poland.

She completed a middle school and then worked in a bank. In the evening time she performed in the Polish and the dramatic section of the trade employees. Later she participated in Yiddish in the dramatic section for the "Hazmir" and when in Warsaw there found "Dos artistishe vinkele". W. became there a member and toured with the troupe across the Polish province.

In 1919 W. toured with the Vilna Troupe where she acted for two years and then participated in the provincial troupe, "Yung bine", then she went over to the Warsaw Central Theatre, attending at the same time Polish dramatic courses in Warsaw.

W. went on a tour across Western Europe with part of the Vilna Troupe that was run by Azro, W. came in 1924 to America, where she for several years was associated with the Vilna Troupe, and she settled afterwards in California where she acts from time to time.
