(Tsirl Goldenberg)


Born on 10 August 1902 in Iasi, Rumania.

Due to the death of her mother she was educated with a grandmother. She learned in a folkshul, also Yiddish.

She lived in the neighborhood with Yiddish actors and as such had the opportunity to act in children's roles in the Yiddish theatre. Later S. was introduced to the actor Berditshevski, then through him she became excited about the stage and married him and followed the same path as him.

In 1930-31 S. acted with her husband in Argentina.
