Yosef Orenshteyn (Oren)


According to Jonas Turkow, he had in 1926-7 been placed in the leadership role of the society-like Yiddish theatre in Krakow. O. was taken into the troupe that had originated in Przemysl.

Turkow mentioned again that O. had participated in the last production of "Dorsyung" in the Warsaw Ghetto, where he too had perished at the hands of the Nazis.
