Jennie Masoff
 

 

She was born in 1890 in Bucharest, Romania.

Her father was a prompter.

At the age of thirteen she performed in a chorus of the Yiddish theatre.

In 1906 she married actor Samuel Masoff and since then changed roles, and together with her husband formed a small itinerant troupe in which she plays up into the present.
