1931-1969
 

Isak Kremer
 

 

Born in 1912 in Dvinsk, Latvia.

In 1930 he performed in the Kharkov Yiddish Theatre for the young workers, afterwards going over to the Kharkov Yiddish State Theatre, with whom he in 1936 toured with to Kiev and was taken into the Kiev Yiddish State Theatre.

In 1939 he went into the Baku Yiddish State Theatre. The war had him with his wife and girls happened into the shtetl of Malin, Vinitzer region. He volunteered for in the Soviet Army to defend the Ukraine against the Nazis in 1941 and he perished in Donbas.

His wife was saved and today is a member in the folks theatre in Riga.
