Toybye Khazak

 

Kh. was born on 7 November 1887 in Vitebsk, White Russia.

His father was a clock maker.

He completed a middle school.

Since 1917 he participated in "amateur" productions.

In 1922 he came into Mim"t and went on tour with them across Western Europe.

Kh. also participated as "Kimak" in the film "Yidishe glikn (Jewish Luck)" (1925), by Sholem Aleichem (Director -- Al. Granovsky).
