1931-1969
 

Manya Keyzerovitsh
(Varshilevska)

 

K. was born in 1885 in Tiraspol, Ukraine.

Her father was a businessman.

In 1906 she began to act with local amateurs.

In 1907 she performed with the guest-starring troupes of Serotsky, Rothstein et al.

After her marriage to actor David Keyzerovitsh she worked under his family name and followed the same stage path as he did, until 1919 in Russia. Afterwards she returned to Poland, in 1927 at the New Yiddish Theatre in Riga (Director--A. Morevsky) and again she returned to Warsaw.

K. also participated in for films for the film society "Mizrakhi".

According to "Yizkor-rshymh", in the program of the Yiddish State Theatre in Poland, K. was killed at the hands of the Nazis in Poland.
