Morris Goldberg


Born in 1874 in Bialystok, Poland.

Goldberg immigrated to America. 

In Chicago he was member of M.D. Vaksman’s "Dramatic Union". 

From 1898-9 he made his stage debut due the illness of one of the regular actors in the play “The Father’s Curse (Dem foters klole)". From that time on, he remained a professional actor.

On August 16, 1925 Goldberg suddenly died in Philadelphia. He is buried in New York in the cemetery [society plot] of the Yiddish Theatrical Alliance.
