Yuzhe Adler

A. may have come from Hungary.

An uncle, [altheym], was a cantor in the Gaster (guest) Synagogue of Bucharest.

He sang in this synagogue's choir, which was under the leadership of David Hirsh.

When Joseph Weinstock, in the 1890s acted in the Yiddish theatre of Egypt and Turkey, A. used to act in small roles with the troupe, act as their choirmaster, and also as a singer in the choir.

A. may have found himself in Egypt.
