Miriam married a first cousin named Pinchas. During the Holocaust, both they and their children Sinai, Reisel and Bruche, were discovered hiding in an attic in Rzeszow and were killed. Miriam was the daughter of Sinai Guner of Psevorsk and Sara Leah Glanzberg of Tarnow.
