According to their granddaughter,
Rosa and Meyer arrived in New York in 1910; Rosa passed away in
1933 In New York. She states that her mother was their eleventh
child and also came to New York in 1910 as a young woman. She
lived to be ninety-four and passed away in Michigan.
As she understands it, Meyer
Liebman used to deliver schnapps in wagons throughout Eastern
Europe, even to Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Of their many children, only six
survived.
