G. was born  in 1912.

She acted in the State Yiddish Theatre in Baku, capital of the Soviet Azerbaijan Republic.

During the Second World War, when the Yiddish actors were divided among the Yiddish troupes in Vilna, she participated together with her husband, the actor Yakov (Yasha) Gergolski, a four-year old young girl, Susana, and a nor-vos-born child, she arrived in Bialystok(?). A little later, when the Soviets had founded a State Yiddish Theatre in Vilna, they were were placed there. Reportedly, during the Occupation, the Nazis placed them in the ghetto. The children were burned up in a barn in the presence of their parents. G. had the Nazis razor the eyes then had her killed, and her husband, after trying to resist the Nazis, was also killed by them.
