aS FEATURED IN zALMEN zYLBERCWEIG'S  "lEKSIKON FUN YIDISHN TEATER"

VOLUME 5: THE KDOYSHIM (MARTYRS) EDITION, 1967, Mexico City

Malya Borkovska

Malya was born in Kiev.

She was the wife of the actor Boris Reysky.

She graduated from the theatrical institute, which was under Lisenko's name.

Since 1933 she was involved with the Kiev Yiddish State Theatre for young spectators.

She was tempted to return to Kiev [during] the first Soviet-Nazi war, but she did not appear because the Germans were already stationed at both the front and back of Kiev, so that anyone living there were not able to leave.

Sh. E. from Yona Radinov.
