CZERNOWITZ SOCIETY BURIALS IN NEW YORK
 

There are nine Czernowitz landsmanshaftn plots located within the metropolitan New York-Long Island area. Below are two lists that detail the more than 1,400 burials within these nine plots.

The first list is for those buried at Mount Carmel, Mount Hebron and Mt. Zion cemeteries. If you use the links provided below, you can find out the grave locations at three of these cemeteries by searching their databases under "Interment Search.". You  can also find out more information about the cemetery itself, such as the cemetery's history and contact information. The other cemeteries mentioned on this page do not have their own website.

The second list displayed here is for those buried in Czernowitz plots located on Long Island at Beth David and Wellwood cemeteries.

The names of the deceased are arranged alphabetically within each list. The name of the cemetery where the person is buried can be determined by looking up the cemetery code; The society name for each plot can be found at the bottom of the page. Though the dates are not listed yet for those buried at Beth David or Wellwood, they will be listed at a later date.
