LOMZA GUBERNIA

Photo, left: Inscription -- "For ... Kajman: I offer a whole eternity to you, my dear friend, Sara Kajman. So that you remember me well, I offer you [illegible]. I write back with my right hand... J. Amsterdamski, Grajewo, May 10, 1920."

Photo, top -- Girl on the right is most likely Sara Kajman. The other girl's name is unknown.

Photo, bottom -- The building pictured here is thought to have been a custom house on the Polish-Prussian border. The town of Szczuczyn was very near the border.  It is not known if any of the Kajman family are pictured in the photograph.
