The Bronx Zoo

Bronx, New York

Chatzkel Burack and his family paid a rare visit to his Burack kin from Brooklyn, this summer day in 1937. They drove to the Bronx Zoo where they met up with his niece Flora and her family, niece Edith and her husband Bennie Rosenzweig. Chatzkel and most of his children and their families grew up and spent their lives in and around the city of New Haven, Connecticut.
